Classwork and Homework

Today in class we accomplished a lot for preparation for our "Celebration of Writing" on Monday.
First, all of you went to Google Classroom and unsubmitted your piece of writing. Then you were to put the title in bold at least size 14. If a poem, it needed quotation marks around the title. If it is the  book or the fiction story, it needs to be underlined. In size 12 under the title, they put the kind of writing it was, companion book, fiction story, or poetry. Then under this they put their full name.
Then turned it in.

Next they filled out a reflection sheet for their writing: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1U8K9IZ1SzNBtzO5onh1Ljqi3gnhVX-KVQ1r0gdr1Oe8/edit
Be sure on the bottom four prompts you use them and write  complete sentences. Also, be sure it is neatly written as these will be put up next to your writing. Be sincere with the prompts.

Lastly, we looked at the speaking rubric which we will use tomorrow:s://docs.google.com/document/d/1H7W6U3kZZvTVrQ0RVIc7S913rHm_ipQS-WlGpWm62fs/edit

HOMEWORK:
1. Read and record your title, pages and minutes.

2. $5.00 for Happy Wheels.

3. Be sure to invite your parents for your Celebration of Writing during your ELA class.

Have a great evening,
Mrs. Downs
