Today in class I instructed you about conclusions. We talked about how a conclusion is the solution to the problem, where you can see how the character changes, where you see how the plot has developed and come to closure, and where the theme is seen loud and clear. I used the following video to have you look again at how Harry P., changed, how the story comes to an end, how the owl was relevant from beginning of the story till the end, and how friendship will have your back. Watch the video and see the facial expressions of Hagrid and Harry as they say goodbye at the train station.
Then you went back to your seats, reread your own conclusion and wrote two different conclusions from your original one after your page of two leads. Think about how you want your story to end in a different way than what you already have. Be creative. It can change the way your audience would see your story.
We are continuing to edit and revise our stories before they are due on Friday of this week.
Have a great evening,
