Classwork and Homework

I love the sunshine!
Today in class we talked about character development. We talked about it from the story, "What Are You Anyways?" We looked at the protagonist, Carol. The story is on one of my former blog pages.
Next you were to look at your protagonist and either the whole scene of your story or a small moment in your story. Then you were to in your writing notebook jot info. about your protagonist.
Use this to guide you:
Character Development
Here are some ideas to consider:
Brainstorm a great small moment with places, events, issues, and struggles.
Make your character come alive; Generate traits, reveal wants and challenges, consider character's attitude toward self and others, explore relationships with others, describe movements, facial expressions, style, quirks, physical traits, motivations, inner thoughts, changes over time, dialogue, decisions made, feelings felt and etc.
SHOW ME, DO NOT TELL ME.

Tomorrow we will begin to put what you have jotted down into your story. I also put this on your Google Classroom for your reference.

Have a great evening,
Mrs. Downs
