Today in class you circled two goals or techniques on our argument writing sheets pages 26 & 27 in our notebooks. They could not be the ones that are required on the essay. Such as a claim, counterclaim, evidence etc. Then you copied these goals to the back of the checklist, page 24.
Next, you began work on your essay adding more author's craft and editing.
Use the color coding chart from yesterday's homework blog.
Lastly, I handed out a new reading log to track the books you have completed reading for trimester two. Also, asked students who wanted to study for the classroom spelling bee mostly likely after break.
1. Read and record title, pages and minutes reading.
2. Work on editing your argument essay. Be sure to add or have at least two author's crafts.
